Get answers to common questions about Microblading Touch Up.
Schedule your first corrective touch-up 4–8 weeks after initial microblading if needed; for regular maintenance, book every 12–18 months. Factors like skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine influence fading and individual timing.
We use topical numbing to minimize discomfort during the touch-up; most clients report mild pressure or tingling. During healing you may experience slight tenderness and scabbing for about one to two weeks—manageable with proper aftercare and ointment.
Allow 45–75 minutes for a touch-up appointment, including consultation, brow mapping, numbing and precise microblading work. Longer sessions may be needed for color correction or shape adjustments on older healed work.
Most clients with existing microblading are candidates, but suitability depends on healed pigment, skin condition, scarring or medical limitations. We assess brows in person and may require a patch test or recommend corrective services if pigment is uneven or heavily faded.
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, NSAIDs and blood-thinning supplements 48 hours before your touch-up. Skip retinol, chemical peels and sunbeds for two weeks. Arrive with clean brows, no makeup, and bring any previous photos to help us match shape and color.
Follow our aftercare: keep brows dry for 7–10 days, avoid heavy exercise, saunas, swimming and direct sun. Apply recommended ointment sparingly and avoid makeup on brows until healed. Complete pigment settling takes up to 4–6 weeks for final results.
